Gina was a lifesaver for me! I was so sick with ulcerative colitis when I started discussing my health with her. I have 3 little children and I work full time so figuring it all out myself was not working. We discussed in detail what I was eating and my lifestyle habits. She made a plan for me and gave several simple suggestions for easy meal prep with the foods that I could tolerate well, plus, she and my doctor came up with a plan for proper supplementation and I have been prescription drug free after all these years.

I have worked with Gina for a couple of years in the areas of diet and digestive issues. She taught me how to log my food intake which helped me realize just how many calories I was eating! I was choosing the right foods, but just eating too much of them and my weight has now stabilized by reducing my food intake. Gina has also helped me with constipation and digestive issues from some medications I take for pain as a result of extensive back surgery. She helped me get on the right type and dosage of probiotics and I am so much better because of her guidance. Gina is thorough yet, easy to work with and always friendly during our discussions. I have known Gina for 13 years and she has always been so passionate about helping people improve their digestive health which in turn can improve their overall health. She has helped several members of my family including myself. I do believe medications have their place, but there are so many ways to keep our bodies healthy before going directly to a medication. My husband has diverticulosis, and a couple of spots turned into diverticulitis. They ruptured and he had to have several inches of his colon removed. Gina has helped him with a protocol to support the lining of his colon and keep it as healthy as possible. My daughter and one of my sons have Crohn’s. Again with Gina’s help, they are working on keeping their digestive systems as healthy as possible. My son can tell a difference in how his stomach feels if he forgets to follow one of Gina’s recommendations. Fortunately, I don’t have any digestive issues, but with so much of our immune system connected to our gut, I want to do the best I can to stay healthy. Gina was so caring and listened to exactly what my digestive issues were I’d been dealing with since I had breast cancer and chemo 10 years prior! I already ate a really clean diet, but she recommended specific supplements to help me with my gut issues. I can say without a doubt she helped change my life. I began working with Gina when my endocrinologist suggested I get some formal education on Type 2 Diabetes. My blood sugar levels were higher than healthy, I was concerned about my weight and I felt lost. Gina taught me so much about self testing, proper diet, including shopping for healthy food and exercise. She created an overall wellness plan and explained it clearly and thoroughly. It was difficult to adjust my habits, but her constant reinforcement and encouragement helped tremendously and we actually had fun through my journey. Gina kept in touch with me almost daily to manage my day-to-day efforts and kept me interested and motivated. I've met the realistic goals we set and I can't give Gina enough credit for guiding me along to steady blood sugar levels. Additionally, I found that by changing to an appropriate clean diet with exercise, my weight seemed to adjust itself. As an added and unexpected bonus, my mood swings have stopped as quickly as the cravings.
